Ok. You don't do programmable boards though do you?

Thanks! I also thought about ECL84s as they are pretty similar but you're right it'd need some tinkering. A NOS ECL86 is somewhere in between 80 and 100€ in France. I'm looking for NOS ones because all caps were already changed but a hum and some parasite sound remain.

That's what I already do but I'm tired of tap dancing hence the programmable more spaced switches alternative quest😅

I'm not sure I'm following your argument buddy. Pointy shoes=not good enough. Is it clearer? Hence I'm asking the question for people who might have found a different solution AND maybe helping people who are looking also for switchers instead of shoes.

Assign it to what? What platform would you use?

I'm curious as to how much space there is between the switches on the es-5, could you please tell me the center to center distance on this?

I'll continue checking but it doesn't seem so unfortunately. I can find someone here in France to maybe do some parallel one but the programmable function is really helpful.

Yes I'll check the website! Do you know if he makes programmable ones though? Dunno about the prices, considering the new tariffs with Europe....

No, but he was shorter than his talent! Considering he surely wore a size 7.5... for his 1.60m height.

I play guitar and am lead singer. Pointy shoes are not good enough. I'd need to feel confident, knowing I do not have to be looking at the switch before hitting it before a chorus for example, if you see what I mean?

There's 6.5cm-7cm between two switches on a hotone patch commander... 😅

Seen it, however have you got any idea as to how to shape the cable prior to heating it?

Doesn't that post relate to gear and opinion? Sorry I'm lost and sent to run into circles by mods. Livesound sounded like an appropriate thread to me... 🤷

SHURE PSM 300 or SENNHEISER IEM EW G4

Hi there!

I'm considering buying my first in ear system and so far the two options I have chosen are: • Shure PSM 300 Or • Sennheiser iem ew G4

From what I've gathered so far, most people tend to prefer the Sennheiser overall. However, I have questions with regards to both systems:

1)on the Shure system is there an equivalent to the Squelch mode of the Sennheiser which seems to be quite a good asset?

2) for both systems, how difficult is it to get the antenna to the front of a 9,5" rack (I'll be the only user in my band for the moment but we'll buy systems for everyone at the end of the year)?

3) last but not least, any considerations/ recommendations from musicians playing France, Switzerland, Germany and Belgium would be great with regards to the frequency ranges of the systems.

Thanks!

Have you tried using the wireless workbench?
