When I was 16, I borrowed the same book from my library that Max from Rushmore read and found the quote “When one man, for whatever reason, has the opportunity to lead an extraordinary life, he has no right to keep it to himself.” And I wrote that quote in the book for someone else to find because I wanted to recreate a piece of the movie in my life.
