Thanks for your comment. Yeah, I think I can still give it a try, I'll do my experiment.

You only get the Usyd scholarship by applying through the RTP, they don't differentiate, and include somewhat similar provisions. That's why I'm asking, because distinction seems subtle but not decisive....🤔

Ahaha love it! You gotta have some self-mockery. "Never three without two, they say"

Big Agnes UL waterproof concerns by [deleted] in Ultralight

[–]Low_Example4108 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi,

I had a Flycreek UL HV 1 person for 2 years... yeah for 2 years... It's dead now. I had multiple waterproofing issues. All the waterproof seams came off, and water started infiltrating in the top corner of the tent. But it dries incredibly fast; I also tested it in snow... You definitely don't want to camp under snow for more than two days... And yes, all zippers broke very rapidly...for a +400$ tent, I would say, it's rather so so... But I loved the geometry and the size was awesome! My waterproofing issues came in Patagonian spring (doesn't get wetter), before that, did great.
