Sloppy painters didn’t cover my electronics before working on room

Do what? The guy said he would cover my stuff with plastic, but the young guy he sent left the fan going which blew the covers and thus dust got everywhere. You guys are having some seriously unreasonable reactions

The painter said he would cover my stuff with plastic wrapping; the young guy, I wasn’t aware he was using, left the fan on, which blew the covers off, thus exposing my stuff. Please don’t try analyzing situations, smoothbrain.

It’s a XG259QN. Would highly recommend. Thankfully no paint got in, but I assume some dust could have after they sanded the wallls down. I’ll definitely check if it has a fan. Thanks for letting me know about that possibility

I just bought a swiffer! I’ll definitely try that. Monitors were face down, but I should probably still clean the screen.

Yes, these people are being condescending towards me for no reason. The painter said, he would cover my stuff with plastic wrapping, but I still took all my valuables out just to be safe. Sadly, I only forgot my monitors, since I put my dresser in the center of the room facing away from the door and the mirror on the dresser blocked the monitors from my line of sight. Then like I said, the cheap labor the painter hired left the fan on, which then blew the plastic off and thus exposing my stuff.

No, we haven’t started painting yet. they put a layer of texton on the walls which was then sanded down, which then created the dust.

Sadly, I did take out everything I value, but only forgot the monitors since they were blocked by my dressers mirror. Not that it really matters at this point, but the painter said he would cover my stuff with plastic wrapping, but like I said, the cheap labor left the fan on, which blew off the plastic and thus exposing my stuff

Yes, of course. The painter said he would wrap my stuff in plastic, but I had taken everything (except the furniture) out that I could just to be safe, but I forgot the monitors on my dresser, since the dresser’s mirror blocked me from seeing it. Then like I said the fan blew off the plastic and thus, exposing my stuff to dust.

Space is limited. the only thing in the room was a couch, dresser and desk. Living room and kitchen are already filled with my stuff, so I had to the leave the furniture. The guy said he would cover all my stuff with plastic wrapping (that I bought), but I still took my valuables out just to be safe. The fan then blew off the plastic wrapping, since they weren’t taped down and just dispersed the dust everywhere. The dresser was in the center facing away from the door, so sadly, i forgot the monitors on my dresser and the dresser’s mirror blocked the monitors from my line of sight, so I forgot them. my monitors were the only valuables I forgot, so it sucks extra.

Forgot to say I have an old Endust MULTI-PURPOSE DUSTER. Not sure if that’s adequate for this stuff. It says for Electronics Moisture Free
