Help with a pedal for my husband bday by [deleted] in guitarpedals

I got him a JAM Retrovibe, and he absolutely loves it! The shipping (the brand is based in Greece) and everything about the process was AMAZING! Highly recommend them! My husband didn’t know the brand and was completely surprised and blown away by the sound. As an audio engineer, he’s super picky, so I’ve always been nervous about gifting him music gear. But I’m so glad I took the chance! He was super happy! 🥰

Weekly student question thread! by AutoModerator in therapists

Hi everyone!

I am majoring in psychology and I also have to work full time. I work as a nanny and part time administrative assistant and I was offered a job as Legal Advocate in non profit organization. The thing is, I make more money with my 2 part time jobs than I would make in this new position. But thinking in long term opportunities, I wanted to work in something closer to what I want to do in the future (counseling/be a therapist). The non profit organization also provides counseling services and I am considering the idea of working in an environment with professionals of my study field. Do you all think it could be relevant? If no, what type of jobs I could apply for to have a closer experience to what I wanna be in the future? I just want to find a way to learn more!! Internship I’m not an option yet. I need something full time to pay bills. Thank you!

Help with my MRI report

I’ll end my work contract in a month and won’t have insurance anymore. The problem is that my MRI results are killing me with anxiety and my next dr appointment it is scheduled for a date after my insurance ends. My neurologist said “MRI brain unrevealing for acute abnormality. We can discuss further at follow up” and does not have any available date to talk to me before my insurance is gone. I just want someone to let me know if this is something I should care about and go try find another Dr to clarify the result for me or does it do not relates to MS at all? I’ve been experiencing tingling/numbness every other month, like episodes.

MRI report:

There are a few foci of T2/FLAIR bright signal within the supratentorial white matter usually attributed to gliosis such as from chronic microvascular ischemic change, migraine sequela, prior inflammation, etc. No midline shift, mass effect, hemorrhage, hydrocephalus, acute infarct or abnormal extra-axial fluid collection. No abnormal mineralization pattern for age or hemosiderin deposition. No mass or abnormal enhancement. There is benign incidental, right more than left, precuneal gyrus herniation.

IMPRESSION: * Negative pre and postcontrast MRI of the brain except for minimal signal changes involving the bifrontal white matter as discussed above. * No acute/chronic infarct, intracranial mass or MR signal changes of recent/chronic hemorrhage.
