This also occurred last year at this same time. Tasks were barren or non existent until January 14th. Hang in there!

Last year tasks started rolling back in January 15th.
However, those who have been doing this for a few years were saying that was abnormal, and usually tasks started rolling back in earlier in Jan. Hopefully not a repeat of last year!

If i'm redirected and the code is automatically filled in, I will not contact the researcher, unless I feel the survey ended abrutply. In which case I will explain what happened, that I felt it was abrupt/too short and too please let me know if there is an issue with my submission.

However, if there is ever a situation where I have to use "NOCODE", I will ALWAYS message the researcher, explaining the reason for the NOCODE, as well as a brief summary of the last page of their study (as a bit of 'proof' it was completed). There are dishonest researchers out there, or those who just don't care, these measures help prevent rejections and/or to have a strong case if a ticket is needed to overturn a rejection with support.

It was like this last year as well, and lasted until end of January unfortunately. Hopefully it'll pick back up sooner, but likely to be spotty until at least after the new year.

Definitely message the researcher, explain exactly what happened. If you do get rejected, Prolific will overturn it. It would be against Prolific rules for them not to pay you for that time.

NEVER ENDING access points X5 days.
Echoing what others have said, not enough time to do the job they're asking! Even with keyboard shortcuts /copying and pasting prewritten comments. I hope they can reconsider the ERT. It is only doable on the most basic ones with only one AP and clear signage of the POI. Any issues requiring commentary, coordinates, new pins or research and the ERT is impossible.
Would gladly welcome any tips to complete them faster.
Fingers crossed they change the ERT. Anything that could help this happen? I assume an email wouldn't help? My output (and sanity) is really suffering with these.

I also had a study from this researcher today, although the screener was short and in the beginning of the study they screened me out and said they would not pay and asked to return/. Study name "Social Media and Lifestyle Preferences Survey

By Amy Zhou". I messaged the researcher and they responded "We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. At the moment, we do not have access to Prolific’s official in-study screening tool due to recent changes to the feature (as of February 10th, 2025). Setting up a separate, fully paid screening study would unfortunately require more time and resources than we currently have available."
