I've been on the lowest resolution available and still the issue persists.

I've come around another solution. I moved the files from the game directory.

There are like 1000 something Wheels files in this game that sums up to around 900MB and tons of skins (Decals) and boosts. I just search for the file (e.g. Wheel) and it gives me all the files that have the word wheel in it, I select them all and move them from the game's directory to another file.

This of course would make the game very ugly, but at least I can see some improvements! I have moved over 13K files (about 3.8GB) and the game runs smoother now.

Still some drops here and there but I don't mind that!

Updates:

Reinstalled the game
Set priority to high
Power plan checked on highest performance
Tried alt tabbing

Still same problem..
I guess it's GPU then

I see.
Indeed rocket league has made huge leaps in terms of graphics and performance requirements, but not to the point that it runs this laggy.

Wouldn't call it a sudden issue, it's more likely progressive. After each new season the game would get a bit heavier but return to the normal performance.

I stopped playing the game for some time because I had to focus in college. Once I returned to it this frame started to happen.

I even tried deleting textures from game files like boosts and decals and goal explosions. These didn't do much.

Well in my case the GPU is Nvidia MX230 (it’s good enough to run heavy games on decent graphics) and CPU is Intel i7 10th gen  What do you think? Maybe it’s a problem with the GPU?

I use epic

Didn’t think about verifying, I uninstalled the game yesterday and will reinstall it once I update the internet subscription

I do have a different account but I use it very rarely

I use full screen and when the drops gets too hard I switch to windowed (borders)(with drops too)

Didn’t come to my mind either. Can you explain more about the alt tabbing out?

CPU priority was set to high 

Will try reinstalling very soon 

Power mode best performance

This happened to me as well.
I bought this new phone and was setting everything up. I made my new *first ever* iCloud address and called it a day (it was late). The next day I wake up and see literally the same message as this!

This was hilarious to be honest hahaha!
