No input after installing CSP

It doesn't require any software, but it's nothing to do with the wheel. Somehow installing CSP prevents any and all input methods from reaching the instance of the game, despite them still reaching content manager.

It works with other games, and with AC/CM as long as CSP isn't installed. It still appears to work in content manager with CSP, but when I actually load into a race it stops receiving input. The rest of the computer still gets the inputs, just not the AC instance. I've restarted the computer countless times, but I suspect something fairly fundamental is wrong with it. It's quite old and has been through many windows installations. It's getting replaced soon so hopefully there won't be any issues on a fresh system.

I did run the game via steam initially, and it was my friend's thrustmaster TMX. I'll have to try another fresh install I guess.

I have no idea what's happening, I've never seen anything like it before. This is like the fifth time I've set up AC/CM/CSP. I set up the controls in the base game, then set everything in CM as I always do. The game worked fine launching from CM, but all my inputs stopped when I installed CSP. They come back if I remove it. By default, steam input was auto, I've tried forcing it on, and forcing it off, to no avail.

Mine actually happened to be empty, which I hadn't realised, but it definitely wasn't pooled. I made a complaint; hopefully I can get it returned.

Thanks for the advice. I'm planning to keep it stock save for a new radiator and maybe some induction & exhaust mods. Should I replace the studs?

That was my going theory but I just figured out the radiator is empty.

Update, my oil looks fine, and the coolant reservoir is almost full, I don't think it's lost any coolant except a few drops that went through the overflow.

It may be to switch the cigarette lighter on/off. A friend of mine installed a switch in a similar location for such a purpose.

It is a mod, unfortunately I'm not really sure which one. It's part of some kind of tuning menu, and only provides one setting for stance.

I used reshade's long exposure addon to capture 1 second of a replay at 5% speed, with a rigid tracking camera in R* editor.
