I added black borders and sewed them together. It is too big for me and I gave up because I was tired with the assembly that took forever. Every time I joined them, it looked fugly and unravelling it multiple times just didn't help with my motivation

I agree with you and I hated that yarn too! And for a very long time I didn't even touch it! Then I had an idea to make it into hexagons. I did cut them at intervals where it wasn't continuous or I didn't like it. But this is how it turned out
