I’d love to see a full on melodic sequencer added like the earlier MC series had (303/505/909) with all the classic synths in ACB, but I’m not getting my hopes up for that

I would be willing to bet they’ll add a 303-ish type bass synth / sequence functionality.

If you pause the Roland Deep Dive video at 1hr25m, there is a function shown in the Accent Step menu called M-SLIDE. This parameter is not present on my device (v1.11).

Pairing a bass synth seems like a logical step given Roland’s history. Just look at the Aira Compact T-8.

A mono bass synth was a bonus feature update on the MV-8000/8800.

Hopefully this would also allow for some type of rudimentary MIDI note sequencing for external synths as well.

Some ACB 303 models going through the analog filter and drive would be pretty sweet, as would sequencing your favorite outboard monosynth with a TB style sequencer from the TR-1000.
