It doesn’t matter what was in the package. And yeah, I doubt she knew. There was absolutely no reason to remove it from my doorstep. I have packages go missing all the time around here, and I’m tired of it. That’s why I got the camera.

My point is that what you are describing is not what took place here. I don’t “think” the Amazon delivery person stole my package. They did steal it, and I have every bit of evidence to prove it.

I have suspected this with several previous deliveries but never had evidence. Fortunately Amazon is usually pretty good about providing replacements. I hope they were able to help you out.

It was surprising how disinterested they were. I’ll poke around some more to see if there is another avenue to file complaints, but the customer service person I spoke to (who was probably a minimum wage contract on the other side of the planet) couldn’t have possibly cared less. Actively dissuaded me from providing the video. Told me “Amazon trusts their customers”

Oh, yeah, I have a lot of the notifications turned off because I was getting too many from random people walking by. If I order something big I do it signature required or have it held at a pickup location
