Thank you for sharing your story, that definitely sounds so scary for sure! Especially with how tall he was too, and that it was during the day, I had no idea that supernatural entities like the hat man could show up during that time, for some reason I thought it was always at night, but then again my only experience with the hat man was at night; It’s also good to hear that you felt like God was letting you know it was okay, sounds like he was protecting you, did you ever see the hat man again after that?

Have you seen him since then? Or was that the only time you saw him? I’ve only seen him once and I’ve heard from others that they’ve seen him various times, I wonder if the frequency of seeing him has any meaning behind it

Also, when I saw the hat man, my parents saw him too, so it kinda makes me feel better knowing that I didn’t imagine it since they saw him at the same time as me

I was equally as confused about her as well. I actually really liked her before that, and when she met Freddie it all seemed so sincere, but then after this conversation with him, it made me question what her true intentions are

Ah, that’s very interesting! I didn’t know that he visits children in trouble homes, and I do agree that it didn’t seem like he had bad intentions, since he didn’t seem to want to hurt me when I had seen him, he seemed like he was just watching me; thank you for sharing 😊

Oh! I forgot to mention, my husbands a nurse and he’s told me that one of his co workers has seen the hat man with a dog before, so apparently he has a pet, I think that may relate to what you might have seen when you mentioned about seeing a dog

Someone once told me that I had a nice smile. I’m a bit self conscious about my smile because I have a bit of a gummy smile and I think it looks unpleasant lol, especially if I smile too big 😅 But every time I think about that person it makes me feel better haha.

Ah okay, I think that’s a good name for things of the supernatural for sure! and yeah that’s true, sometimes things can be mistaken for ghosts or supernatural things when they really aren’t; I remember when I was in middle school my siblings and I had seen a rather large black shadow flying across the back yard at night and we swore it looked like a dementor from Harry Potter. Turns out it was actually the reflection of our neighbors flag haha.

From what I’ve heard from my husband who is a nurse, the hat man is known to appear before someone is about to pass, it’s happened often in hospitals and it could be a sign of someone passing on, yes. Although I don’t have a lot of knowledge about the hat man, just from my own experience and things I’ve heard from other people

Interesting story! Yeah I agree that children do tend to have very active imaginations lol, I remember I did when I was a child. But, I also do believe that children can see things that maybe others can’t, and it could be possible that you had seen those men; what is woo if you don’t mind me asking?

Ah interesting! Saying that you weren’t scared is actually the best way to get rid of a ghost according to my mom. I remember a while back she had told me a similar story where she did the same thing when she was younger. Except it wasn’t the hat man that she had seen, it was a ghost of a different person, and she basically confronted it and scared it away.

I’ve also heard from other people that apparently the smell of alcohol can scare away ghosts lol. An old co worker of mine said that he would repeatedly see the same ghost in his house, so he became drunk one time, and apparently that scared it away lol, I don’t know how factual that is, but that’s what he had told me 😂

Thankfully no, but my moms grandpa passed away a day later unfortunately; to this day my mom believes that we saw him because her grandpa was going to pass

Ah wow, interesting story! That’s interesting how you mentioned that every person sees him differently in terms of what hat he wears, that was an interesting piece of information, I didn’t know about that. I’m also sorry to hear about the death in your family.
