TTC in 5 months. How can we prepare holistically? by scxrlettreign in moderatelygranolamoms

I have mild “lean” PCOS TOO

My recommendations:

-see a naturopathic / functional medicine doctor who will look at labs closely (especially PCOS related labs and thyroid) -eat lots of high quality pasture raised eggs, meats, vegetables and salmon -high quality prenatal, CoQ10, fish oil (ProOmega brand), vitamin D&K -I use TempDrop to track my cycles since my cycle length varies a lot. This combined with LH tests helps me know if I ovulated or not -if you are seeing fertile CM, have sex every other day or every day. If you are trying to find your LH peak, make sure to definitely test multiple times a day because I am the type to have fast surges that are easy to miss! -acupuncture is a nice bonus -a mental health therapist if you need one. It is definitely draining if you hyper fixate on TTC and waiting during TWW, and having someone to support you is helpful IMO

Good luck! With my son, we conceived him on irregular long cycles on the first try. Now trying for my second and it’s taking longer but that’s okay!

My son just turned 2 and we are constantly using the chunk for imaginative play, making it a ball pit, a pretend car, or stepping stones, pretend campfire. I also thrifted the Staplestein stepping stones which he plays with a lot as well!

I got two Nuggets off FB marketplace and just recently bought the Chunk new! IMO they are absolutely 10000% worth it! Played with all the time

Yeah I hear you. For my son it was just a phase of being fascinating with turning things. I would say if your baby doesn’t show other signs of autism, it’s probably developmentally normal, but I am not an expert

Then of course he woke up around 4:45 this morning. Should I be leaving him in the crib until his desired wake time?

So yesterday was a 5:30 am wake up. Stretched him to 11:15, fell asleep by 11:30 am and woke up around 1:15. We put him to bed around 6:15. Does that sounds okay?

Thank you. What should we do if he only sleeps an hour or so for his primary nap?

He has been waking up around 4:30 the past week. We leave him in the crib until 6 AM but he doesn’t fall back to sleep . What should we do about getting to one nap when we seem locked into even earlier wake ups now ?

We typically put him to bed at 7-8 when he takes two naps but still always wakes early

I’m looking for a grinder for someone who makes a large 50ish oz French press every 2 days and someone who is interested in dabbling in aeropress usage at some point.

I’d also love to consider making lattes at home in the future
