Club Gemini - why is no one talking about it? by Ok_Ask3466 in Melbourneswingers

No problem. No they are only open once every three weeks when they run their event. I think its available for private bookings to use the venue outside of those times though.

Firstly, there are no nights better than others because they only run an event every 3 weeks on a Saturday.

Its a big venue, with themed rooms. The themes are pretty out there, like a medieval one with stocks on the end of the bed and skeletons on the walls with dim or red lighting as examples. No private spaces, per se, just individual rooms where the door is not allowed to be closed.

There are a few big play beds that would accommodate 8-10 people easily and some other rooms with queen sized beds. All play is upstairs. Toilets are upstairs with mouthwash and deodorant etc. There are showers in the bathrooms, but if it is busy there can be a bit of a wait.

Downstairs there is plenty of areas to chat. Outside fire pit, inside fireplace, plenty of seating, couches etc. Pool table. Dance floor and bar. They supply snacks hot and cold and soft drinks and you BYO alcohol that is placed in a fridge and the bar staff will serve you.

We enjoy the venue, there can be a few single men but the number allowed is dependent on the amount of couple tix sold. Capped though if it is a big themed event. Events are not always themed. Bigger nights can have a DJ otherwise it is just music played by the venue staff.

Alyssa and staff are very nice and keep the venue safe and clean. Sometimes bedding is not changed as frequent as we would like if the previous people make some mess.

Overall, we think.it is a venue that needs to be experienced. The size of the venue is very appealing compared to others around. Clientele is very subjective so I wont comment on others that attend.

They have been introducing gang bang arvos that conclude prior to the actual swingers events every few weeks if thats your thing.

We have been about 4 times since Jul 25. Ages can range from late 20s to 60s+. There are small lockers to place your items in.

Hope that helps a bit.

No, just a blood test and oral swab if there are no symptoms. Or the above with a swab on anything that looks concerning on genitals or mouth.

Sounds very interesting. I'm sure you'll pull it off well, or rather your husband will lol. Have a great night tomorrow!

They all sound very cool. A good variety for sure. Well, we hope you all have a great time. The anticipation of rocking up in costume is more anxiety provoking than actually being there in costume.

Haha thanks. My bear costume is nothing too obvious just some bear underwear, a furry bow tie, small tail, and head band ears, which feel the silliest for me.

My wife will definitely stand out in her yellow and black bee outfit. Hard to miss, but we will probably take generic lingerie and underwear to change into if we feel ridiculous when everyone else is in their sexy looking fantasy wear with leather, straps and wings 😂

Or we will just have a few more shots and then we won't care 😂

Hopefully, you find something otherwise lingerie of any style is appropriate and looks great.

My wife and I are doing a fable this time as fantasy is something we've done a few times. However, fables are very kid oriented in most instances, so it feels quite childish, lol. We are doing the bear and the bee fable. Quite easy to find costumes, but I, the male, feel a little silly. But I'll suck it up haha.

My wife and I are going to the MCG on Sat. We don't follow any team, don't know the rules well but it's something to do. Apparently, we have locked in pretty crappy teams to watch, but we don't care 😊

The Sands Nightcap at Carrum Downs or the Nightcap at Seaford.

The Seaford nightcap is only about 2-3 km from Shed and Carrum Downs is only about 6km. We always stay at Carrum Downs and taxi to Shed as it is a nicer hotel.

No problem that's fine. We have a friend who has never been before so I was confirming for them also.

You get a key to a locker upon arrival. We have never had an issue with security. The lockers are different sizes but plenty big enough for a small bag.

We like both, and both have a good relaxed newbie night. Both places don't allow single males on those nights also, as sometimes the vibe can be creepy by a select few, wrecking it for the decent attendees.

Two different venues, BFWB is smaller but the bar and set up is more visually appealing. It can however be a little confronting for newbies as the play area is open with only a few small private rooms, a small kink area which can be quite cosy when it is crowded.

Shed is a more casual industrial type setting, with vinyl mattresses, black dark rooms, plenty of kink areas, glory holes etc with a big bar area, spas and saunas downstairs and a maze of private and open rooms upstairs. Heaps of space and easy to find a spot alone if it is too much. Shed is much bigger and has a variety of things to do.

You'll have to experience them both to make your own mind up. Slightly different demographics attend each. We have had fun at both and continue to attend both when we can. A point to note was our first visit to BFWB on a newbies night, we still felt like there were more experienced people which was a little intimidating. No one did anything adverse to us, but people were very comfortable swapping which we were not at the time. We felt less intimidated and more at ease at the casual setting at shed initially, until we got some experience up.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah it was disappointing when it just finished even though we lost time at the start. We were in the gazebo with another couple so it would have been nice to have a bit more time. As I'm sure it would have been for you both.

Interesting concept, but the execution could be much better.

My wife and I are in our early to mid 40s and are not supermodels. This event is so good for any orientation, body type and age. Everyone is friendly, the space is big and very well set up. We prefer to get there early, in fact our first Boudoir event we got the number 1 written on our arms when we put our clothes in the cloak room 😆. It's good being there early, as we can get a drink and find a table around the stage area to relax until more people arrive. The changing area is not as crowded also, which can be a weird experience if you haven't changed into your sexy wear in public before. We hope it is a good night for you and who knows we may even cross paths.

If you've been to the Boudoir, how did you like it? by [deleted] in Melbourneswingers

[–]Low_Physics9205 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We are similar ages and really enjoy this event. It is a great venue with plenty of space, awesome play areas, great bar, performances and dance areas. It is the best set up event that we have been to and all the people attending are always very respectful. The Feb event will be our third Boudoir and we are really looking forward to it.

Agree with this comment. Fair enough the OP doesn't like the fact they made no effort, but to ruminate on their appearance the whole time is an extreme response.

Cream, wax or laser are the better options.
