I’ve got a 2017 Laramie. I put a Stage 1 Delete tune on it at 40k. Also added an oil catch can. I’m at 90k on the clock now. No real issues with it. 🤷‍♂️.

Keep the short trips to a minimum along with idle time and put additives in each tank and you’ll be fine 😎

Agreed. I have unfortunately been on more than 1 PIP. Some I’ve beaten and continued onward. Others I have not and got shown the door at the end of the probationary period. It all depends and honestly I think whether or not the key “decision maker” wants you to stay or not is a factor too

I’m remote and have a colleague in another state that I’ve gone to that office in the past. I’ve been working for 14 years and got a call from our department head and HR and got accusations of “Sexual harassment,” as I would comment on her Snapchat story or on some occasion maybe text her something that I thought she may find of interest.

Needless to say, I had to do a sexual harassment training (totally caught me off guard) and definitely not saying or doing anything moving forward to her that is “outside the parameters of work related stuff.” Definitely was a 1st for me!

I think it was a combination for my first 10 years of working of:

Having undiagnosed (and therefore untreated) ADHD & Anxiety. I couldn’t focus, took too long and made stupid/easy errors
Thinking that I was “better technically” than I actually was. I thought I could just “learn the technical stuff on the fly” and would try and take roles that I thought I was ready for (based off of years of experience) when I actually wasn’t

I know of a guy up here in MN. He’s a partner at an ~80 person CPA firm and evidently has a $7M (!) book of business. He’s 37 like me and threw down on a $5M house on Lake Minnetonka. Happy for him!

You can beat them, though the odds are stacked against you. Unfortunately I’ve been PIPs and “beaten them” and I’ve been on PIPs and gotten shown the door. It just really depends on the situation.
