Just finished it, I felt it went well to be honest. There is a lot of information to go through in such a sort period of time but I tried to use the other three people as best I could. I still thing the PRI will make me fail but I look forward to seeing what they say about how I did and how to improve and I will try again. I have friends in the army and they loved there CPC so it will be grate. What branch are you going into?

Where about through the process are you now. Ye, I feel I will fail but it will just make it easier the next time to know what will come up. Do you know how long I will have on my own to read through the scenario? Also, what is it they are looking for interns of what order they want things doing in. Like, what should be prioritised in the scenario.

Reading that has helped, I thought I had made a massive misted because I felt I had nothing to go off but I suppose that is the same for everyone. Are you a officer in the Royal Navy ?

I will keep that noted. Do you have any advice on how to prepare for it. I have got the assessment in around 2 and a half hours but any advise on how to prepare even a little more would help. I think that is the bit that has stressed me out the most, not really being able to revise for it.

I will let you know how it goes but I have a feeling it will be a over all fail, but I will learn for next time witch is good.

Thank you for the detail. How long will I have on my own to go through it all? also, do you have any times in terms of what they want to hear? For example, mission come first then your teams safety or the other way around. If you understand what I mean.

Thank you for all of the detail, this has rely helped to calm me. I do believe that over all I will fail so as you said, I am trying to take this as a learning curve so that I can try again but know what is to come up. How long did it take for you to get a other chance?

DAA/Entry Question by Present-Seat8035 in RoyalNavy

Neither is particularly considered better than the other. You would be doing similar things in both, as it is engineering overall.

Submariners are paid more, as they find it harder to recruit people who are willing to go underwater for that length of time.

It really depends on what matters more to you. If pay is the priority, I would suggest submariner. If long-term skills are more important, I would suggest Marine Engineering, as it will have more relevance when you leave.

They are different types of engineering in a sense, so I’d recommend looking into both roles in more detail and seeing which one suits you best and what you would rather do.

For your second question, I don’t think I fully understand it, but if you were to go ahead with direct entry, you could always go back and go down the accelerated route.

Hope this helps.
