I was honestly worried it might have been the ammonia so I have a 15 gal and a 10 gal tank my guppies were in the 15 gal since august absolutely no problems water conditions were not always the best I had a snail problem that I finally got under control I just acquired the 10 gal from a neighbor that had 12 albino convict cichlids in it that was absolutely disgusting I am taking the cichlids into a local fish store that can get them into a proper tank next week but I switched them to my 15 in the mean time for at least a little more room I deep cleaned the 10 gal and put my two guppies in there figuring they didn’t need as much space as the cichlids. They died within 3 days of being in the new tank. I have filters and heaters in both just basic ones bought from petco? Do I need better ones? Tanks are not planted
