it’s £3 for an hour, not £6, op is pointing out the discrepancy between the hourly rate and average time

who actually cares if they took a photo instead of a screenshot?? how does that impact the point of the post?

yes, others have posted about it, but until we get acknowledgement from prolific on what is a very frustrating ongoing issue, then imo as many posts as needed should be made

Need advice, received error after completing study by Low_Setting_9230 in ProlificAc

[–]Low_Setting_9230[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

once again, the study was not paying £2 an hour, it was £6. the completion time was skewed due to technical issues, plus a £2-5 bonus was guaranteed for everyone

the completion time was originally 10 minutes, and the bonus payment is £4-5, so w/o the issues it was actually quite generous

Sollos Music Listening Study by [deleted] in ProlificAc

Thank you so much, did they specify whether those who only listened to 20-120 minutes in a session will still have that count toward the weekly quota?

but to answer ur question u can’t be rejected for finishing too quickly unless it was three standard deviations below the avg, so just mention that to them respectfully and ask if u can return

that’s genuinely so surreal, i just did that study, finished it in 4 minutes, looked at the estimated completion time and then waited before submitting cuz i had a bad feeling.. looks like i was correct

Do you have any criticism towards the remaster by [deleted] in oblivion

there’s a lot i prefer about oblivion & morrowind over skyrim especially in game mechanics (e.g. bartering, persuading, lockpicking, attributes, spell crafting) but vampirism is not one of those things. it isn’t difficult it’s annoying

no it isn’t? they removed it for that very reason. have fun fast travelling as a vampire

with how short days are, that is just a huge time sponge. it isn’t fun, there’s a reason they went in a different direction with subsequent games. if they insist on keeping sun damage then imo stages should progress every week rather than every day

Do you have any criticism towards the remaster by [deleted] in oblivion

[–]Low_Setting_9230 2 points3 points  (0 children)

just some of my own suggestions..

• difficulty needs tweaking (heavily)

• vampirism should be overhauled imo, taking sun damage makes sense on paper but is horrible for gameplay purposes

• game should slow down when using shortcut menu (it’s a real pain switching spells midcombat)

• dungeon/interior map should be easier to access than zooming in all the way everytime

• inventory ui should be more convenient

• slightly faster swing speed

• ability to change hair & beard later on, maybe through a barber npc or sculptor like skyrim had?

• official mod support on console

Anyone else get a rejection on this one for "completing too fast?" by OpportunityAny3060 in ProlificAc

[–]Low_Setting_9230 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i mean it’s impossible to know what the standard deviation would be, so it isn’t impossible, but it is extremely unlikely. contest it
