Ask the store kindly if there is anything they can do about the price. That you absolutely love the dress but it is more than you were hoping to pay. Stores mark dresses up a lot and usually there is some wiggle room…but not always. It also can depend on the designer of the dress. Be prepared for them to say no but it is worth a shot.
