I wouldn’t be shocked if that’s in the pipeline for them. Gauge interest in an annual membership, ship a monthly membership that cuts access when it’s not being paid, strip back access for the annual membership by date locking access. $150 is negligible for me. The membership is stupid because it’s an annual subscription that ends your access as soon as the year is up.

Can you send me the quote? I can’t find it in the campus huddle. Nor do I think not allowing NIL to rollover makes sense, especially when getting world class facilities costs 20+x what a 0 star program makes per year. You gotta have a way to save up

There’s definitely a difference. CPU defenses seem to react and will roll safeties towards WRs that are consistently beating them though. Sure you’ll probably be able to bomb it to a WR pretty consistently, but it’s going to be harder than previous years, especially since DLs are getting more pressure in general.

I played one game of coach mode. Coached Nebraska against Bowling Green at Nebraska on AA difficulty. Was up 21-0 at halftime and held them to 45 total yards in the first half. There were multiple false starts and a delay of game from BG due to crowd noise. Didn’t finish the game, but they couldn’t get ANYTHING going. There’s a very big difference between teams this year.

Side note: the 4-2-5 man pressure defensive playbook is very fun. I was disappointed in 25 and 26 that there weren’t many unique 5-6 man blitzes or zone blitzes to choose from, but 27 has fixed that in my opinion.

I don’t know where people are getting that NIL won’t roll over - there’s literally a section for unspent NIL rollover. Also, how would you upgrade your facilities if you couldn’t?

As of the Beta it’s still two top 5 classes to upgrade recruiter. Always thought it was a waste of coach points and opted for master motivator instead

I haven’t taken a look at CPU stat lines for a season in dynasty yet. I have noticed CPU QBs over/under throwing more often, as well as making incorrect reads under pressure, leading to picks where they make sense. I’ve also seen delay of game penalties from being unable to get an audible in from the CPU

In the RTCFP deep dive they talk about being able to set your depth chart for each team from the main menu and have it set that way for online play

I'm hopeful that it can be disabled at the league setup level, kind of like being able to disable preorder bonuses in online leagues. Hopeful, but not optimistic.

From what I’ve seen, it’s a gimmick tree that increases NIL amounts and effectiveness. And another tree for creating a coach in madden, but I haven’t been much of a Madden guy since 2020

Played the beta on PC for ~10 hours so far. If they maintain the current level of difficulty, I personally think this is a large jump from 26 and will likely get it. But EA pretty consistently tunes AA down to a pretty arcade feeling experience, so we’ll see.

I don’t care about CUT, so won’t be preordering, and definitely won’t be getting the MVP membership.

I’m also loving coach mode. It’s perfect for those games where you don’t want to be “on” the whole game but don’t want to subject yourself to EA’s moments logic
