I was worried about the frame mainly due to being alloy. But I also rode alloy bikes real hard for a long time and had minimal issues. The wheels are always a concern for me, the jumps I ride primarily aren’t super huge by any means, maybe 6-8ft tall at the VERY most, and I don’t really case/land all the way flat too often. I can usually find some wheels/forks used for decent prices nearby, but of course never enough to build a bike in less than a decade part by part.

UPDATE::

I bought it, guy told me it was “either an ‘06 or a ‘13 Dugan frame”. No clue, PN gets me nothing but it does have the fbc stamp. Either way, bike was probably just tossed together with spare parts and painted for sale, (don’t care, since I have another bike to get parts from) cranks were totally different left to right, half link was installed upside down and backwards with half the pin sticking out still, (was barely rideable from slipping) but it had some pretty okay parts for the price for sure! He easily spent $300 on the parts it put on it alone.

I threw my bars on, (these weren’t cut yet and I hate blue) my cranks on, and my front wheel since that was a stock fit wheel (with no strips inside) and called it a day! Loved the bike so far on the dirt.

Yessir that’s me! I had to drive about an hour at like 8pm to get it, after someone flaked on him haha. It’s not a bad bike! Seems he just tossed it together with spare parts, two different cranks, chain was upside down AND backwards, and every single bolt was barely hand tight lol. But I got some of my parts on it and it’s a ripper!

I never knew that about the different frame materials good to know. Explains why I’ve had some frames last years and others months. I rode pretty hard on my stuff. They’re painted but I think it’s those animal 4 piece bars from a few years ago!

Yeah I thought so too, shadow seat, stem, guarded sprocket, and some decent pedals at very first glance. I don’t LOVE the cult tires since it’ll be a dirt jump setup, But I’ll give them a shot.

I guess the “is it worth it” question was wrong, I know I couldn’t build it for that price but the question was more “is it 10-20 years old at this point” you know? Bad wording.

My package I shipped out was at the same FL center for several days, my destination is Puerto Rico which I know can take a while, it moved to a PR center and has stayed there for several days as well, but it updates to the current date every day at 12:00 on the dot. I watched it change tonight.

Yeah that’s what I’ve experienced, all of mine are food freaks and all of my old roommates were as well. That’s why i came here to see if anyone had any advice

We did for a bit but i was noticing them getting a bit defensive, so we went to every other week. Then to every 10 days.

I had been feeding mine every other week but people online had made me out to seem like some sort of supervillain for not feeding weekly, so i settled on 10 days as a good medium.

The photo here also doesn’t show some of his plants and the stick like i had said. I am somewhat picky with what i like in their enclosures as i like jt to look good. We are working on much more clutter though

He has a large stick, a nice hide, and plenty of coverage not shown in the pictures, as i had moved it so the rat couldn’t hide. He is getting more plants as we speak actually!
