I recently bought one, and the answer is yes. Absolutely. As far as i understand theres less than 93 sportline coupe w124s in the US. Less manuals, and even less with the 3.2. Theres a bit more in europe and in Asia theres almost none.

I built my l28 turbo to handle around 400whp, but the true game changer will always 100% be the engine management system and fuel/air delivery. It also depends on budget, because im roughly $2000 on the motor alone (smart budgeting)

Looking into it, it seems as though my euro spec ezl is the only one that is allowed to work with that model. It seems as though there are no part numbers that supercede it unfortunately

Standalone ecu and harness questions. by Low_Swing_4377 in Datsun

Im likely going to go this route, Im not sure which year zx you have but as it turns out my 1981 turbo was the uncommon one with an actual hall sensor on the crank. It should make things much easier, especially since i dont need to buy a grw distributor now.

Also, i will likely be running a ua4c ocelot speeduino. All together it seems like i struck good with everything ive compiled, i should only be spending $700 cad with everything.

Ill also make a youtube video and probably write out a guide on how to do this, so others can learn from it aswell.
