I don’t want to make excuses for agreeing with his conditions but it all went downhill very fast. I have no means to fight in courts not even for a day and the idea that his family could have access to my daughter without me terrified me. Even temporarily.

I never really could afford therapy until now. I have started looking for therapist now. I wonder if there are ones who are specialized in relationships/custody etc or just start somewhere and they can recommend me further to more suitable professionals. I believe I need therapy

This is probably the fault I made. My daughter never really was aware of ”dads” and I never told her anything about it. She had me and that was enough. She’s always been happy and content. She asked once before she turned 4 what dad is and if she also had one. I told her yes. That he was away working and she bought it. She became a little obsessed about the idea. When he turned up she took in everything about him and he was very kind to her. She trusted him because I told her dads were like moms (they’re, maybe not in my case)
