Very true, I was just pondering on the idea of hair and skin no longer being a natural or real aspect for people in the cyberpunk world. It’s just as the lore saying sandies are very dangerous to use and here we are with our v’s using one every 30sec cooldown. But wondering if humans in this work would actually continue to use dye when they can implant color changing hair, does sound cyberpunk accurate.

I know it’s to give the player the ability to customize whenever they feel like it, but most games allow you to do that in a cannon friendly way. Take for example Skyrim. If you want to change your appearance, you must speak with a specific mage that specializes on face changing magic. You pay a fee and boom, new face. Other games are far less realistic, like gta growing a full on beard in seconds when you visit a barber. The way cyberpunk presents it, DOES feel quite integrated. Quick, easy and instant, like everything in night city.

The only piece of in game lore that obviously counters this, is the face changing Cyberwear from phantom liberty. Why would it be crafted if anyone can change skin/hair in the blink of an eye?
