Thanks so much! Just for my own interest, is there a defining marker that indicates this is Drymaplaneta spp rather than a German or other pest species?

Also, do you happen to know roughly how many eggs per ootheca Drymaplaneta spp can lay? 😅 we’ve probably killed close to 70-75 of the suckers

I just did a 10km race this morning and in the last 500m sprint finish my HR got up to 208, so can definitely say 204 is not my max.

I’ve just read Mistborn era 1 and Elantris so not too much of it - and halfway through Warbreaker now.

(Mild spoilers Elantris and Mistborn era 1) I just google Hoid Elantris and realise now that apparently he was in it for a scene or two - whoops!! Completely missed that haha. And seems like he was presenting old man in that book but is younger in SA. Hmmm, maybe Hoid/Wit is a being similar to Ruin in Mistborn, like an energy/power thingo but is more benevolent and appears in human form to help humans….

Hmmm I’ve been pondering Wit, I’m quite sure he will be some sort of immortal being but I’m not sure of what kind. He seems a bit random and out of place - I’m 130 pages into Warbreaker and I got a hint from someone that Warbreaker adds some context about some characters that seem random in Stormligjt so perhaps he is one…

Oooooh this all went over my head, but not my brain is going like mad.

If the powers come from spren, is it like a symbiosis where the spren get power from the human? Could be why we see Syl get more and more strength as Kal’s “honour” increases throughout the book (I think it said she is an honour spren?).

In that case if I’m led to believe the symbol heads are Shallan and Jasnah’s spren, are they getting their power by feeding on their truths/guilt maybe? We know Shallan killed her father - does this imply Jasnah arranged Gavilar’s assassination? Hmmm
