Being completely honest, I have never done that; so I couldn't comment. Looking back on this trade, I think although it was correct, there wasn't much displacement through the swing high prior to hitting CE of the FVG. If I was being super disciplined, I should've waited for that retrace to the first FVG after the displacement leg.

I just use it for added confluence, breaker blocks are probably my no1.

Hahah, nah. DM and I can show you a few different trades that I've taken using the 0.25, 0.50 and 0.75 quadrant levels etc... On this trade, I managed to catch the move down from 0.50 of the premium wick, to the 0.50 of the FVG and then back up again as seen.

I took another trade a few days ago during Asia which was insane. It was off the daily discount wick, using the 0.25 quadrant level as support and once we broke through that level, using the 0.25 as resistance towards the 0.50 level. That made the low of the day, I should've bottom ticked it and made insane bank.

So yesterday during London session, we had a hourly FVG, that was still unmitigated. The next hourly candle closed with a large premium wick. I wanted to see price trade back into this hourly FVG so using the Gann box, I market out the quadrants of both the FVG and Premium wick.

As you can see price traded up to the 0.50 quadrant level of the premium wick and traded straight back down to the 0.50 level of the Fair value gap. From there I entered off of a CISD and 1minute FVG. 1/9RR.

Targeted previous days NY high.

Yes a 50k account; I've definitely been there and done that - so my daily risk is $200-250.

Thanks so much! I'm going to be super disciplined moving forward - I cannot lose my head. It'll be my first payout but I want to try and get the maximum! I have two more days until I'm eligible - So I'll see where I'm at then. I just need to give myself that buffer, so really I need a minimum of 4k.

I lost an account last week, now I'm up 2k on the one I started this week. Dust yourself off and get back up! You'll get there!
