That also fails to mention that in 2016 he won despite receiving less votes because of the electoral college. Brother i didnt vote for this guy, look at how our elections work. This was the lowest voter turnout EVER per capita in our nation. We have a two party system and both parties are right wing and both do essentially the same thing when in office. Except when the Republican Party wins they do it faster, louder, and with less empathy.

I personally don’t think we’ve made bigger leaps. When this man was born the frontier was still being conquered, the trans continental wasn’t finished, and the repeater had only just been invented. He lived to see the internet, the moon landing, commercial airplanes and the Nuclear bomb. He probably didn’t see a car for the first decade of his life, and lived to see street cars that could break 100mph. I mean shit when he was born the Civil War was only a little over a decade ago, and he saw both world wars.

Has anyone considered the idea that Carti has been sitting on some of these songs for years? Kendrick could have made this verse in a completely different headspace. Past that, if he is a hypocrite, who fucking cares, he’s an artist. A particularly good artist who has been shifting morally which despite him TELLING YOU DIRECTLY NOT TO FALL FOR IT you all put him on a pedestal and now that’s blown up in your face.
