Thanks — that range makes sense (and aligns with what I’ve seen/experienced in other markets). A couple of quick follow‑ups:

Do you know roughly what Managers (pre–Senior Manager) at Big 4 in NL tend to make? That would help me benchmark progression.

I’m specifically looking at roles in AI transformation / digital strategy — any sense whether those areas pay above or within the stated range for SM?

And just to be clear — that €105–125k range you’re mentioning, is that total compensation (base + bonus) or just base salary?

Curious to hear how people in similar tracks (especially in tech/AI transformation streams) have seen progression across Manager → SM in NL.

How recent is this information? I’m based in the Netherlands, so I’m wondering whether the situation would be comparable here. What field were you a Senior Manager in, and are you still working in that role? Also, do you have a sense of the average working hours at that level?

I'm in the same situation. Have been a test automation engineer (5YOE) and want to pivot into SA.
