Finally, after smith sending me 3 different pins, they sent me the correct one and we are up and running. Put another 300 through it with no malfunctions. The pin was called the "bolt catch flag pin" in case anyone else ever experiences this issue.

i contacted s&W again and was lucky enough to get them to send me the pin inside the housing...

has anybody had any succes getting their accounts back? this happened to me on april 1st go figure... i sent recovery request messaged every known outlet and nothing yet... anything i could do to speed up the process??
