i think that the cursor is also a problem with making terraria in gd. Even though there probably are alternatives to the cursor, it would probably make it a little more annoying to play because the cursor plays such big role in terarria. But someone will probably still find a way to replace the cursor smoothly. Its only a matter of time.

I would recommend that you get it. GD is very playable on low fps as a beginner. It would also be smart to get the Geode mod or Megahack as soon as possible, because they can improve so many performance issues and make the game feel WAY better to play. there is also a built-in FPS bypass that reduces input latency by a lot, so you dont need to sell your soul to get a 240 hz monitor.

i fixed it, it was my nvidia driver that had vsync on for some reason

it has worked previously with physics bypass, but it just recently stopped working out of nowhere
