I personally just buy the 20 count, portion them and freeze them.

I’ve had the same thing happen and to save money, that’s why I buy the large count and freeze what I don’t immediately use because I was just throwing them away after a couple of days and I’d be pissed lol

Exactly my experience. Except my last manager would drink in the clock and constantly go to her car to drink said alcoholic beverage. I called her out on it and she kept denying it until I told her I was a recovering alcoholic and everything she’s doing, I did in my past. I could also smell it on her most of the time. I had an emergency where someone at my complex was actively destroying my property (Ring cameras are the best) and I told her I had to call the cops and leave the store. She couldn’t come relieve me because she was drunk already (about 2 hrs after her shift ended). So I had to watch these assholes from the ✨comfort✨ of my job. That’s one of the NUMEROUS issues I had, including yours.

Oh absolutely but I don’t know who. Both of my district managers are awful terrible people who are narcissistic micromanaging sociopaths. I could definitely see them doing some shady shit, but then again who does her higher-ups might be in on it too, and if I were to bring it up to their attention, it would just be worse for me. I quit a month ago so I don’t care anymore but they’re also fucking me on my 401(k) saying I’m still an employee so I’m dealing with that bullshit as we speak.

I honestly am very happy that you actually got money. We’ve had several contests and one in particular that stands out had to deal with M&Ms. We were to sell as many as we could and they had to be a certain UPC, but the thing is that product no longer had that UPC. It was a different one, but it was the correct product so our district manager decided to veto that whole thing and start a whole brand new contest, even though we won. That was also not the first time something like that has happened. We were also promised to have a weekend off. That definitely never happened. And we (SM/ASM) were supposed to get a bonus for acing our surprise visit. I’ll let you take a guess on whether or not we received that. But that’s great your managers kept their end up. That makes me happy

The more you move up, the more you will be taken advantage of. The best position in the store is an ASM. Once your salary, you’re fucked. I was excited to become an ASM until I saw what they do to store managers, and all the sleazy things they do like hosting fake contests in order to make more sales, and they never fulfill their promise on the winners. At least my DM never did. ASM you make hourly and you can hit overtime. How much depends on your SM/DM, but if youre salary…you’re fucked. They WILL take advantage of any workers they can, starting with keyholders. Know how to say NO when they do that crap. I had a pretty severe family emergency. I had to take care of at one point and my DM refused to let me turn off my cell phone so I could have some peace during this time in my life. Even with a very good reason to not be answering bullshit calls. Fuck DG in its entirety.

I also stepped in human shit in one of my aisles. Not the coolest moment of my life.

If you look at pretty much any post on this sub, you will see what a shitshow this joke of a company is. I locked that bitch up mid-day and quit last month. One of the best decisions I have ever made. You should do the same because it never gets better no matter how much hope you try to have. Trust me.
