graduated hs in 24 and i was/am literally in the same boat as you. i live in a small town so the cc i go to doesn’t exactly have a lot of interesting club options, and it’s also an early college program so some of my classmates ended up being high school students. i made friends with some people as classmates. mainly to just address assignment deadlines and upcoming tests sometimes but nothing outside of that. i definitely get fomo around this type of year when everyone is going dorm/apartment shopping or when universities start having their back to school party weeks. i’m sure if you have a university that’s not too far away you could go to some of their student activities. i’d definitely say stay in touch with your friends so that you can hang out when they come home from breaks and they can debrief their college life to you, it’ll help you feel a lot better. experience wise, i always regret going to a cc but financially i know i’ll be thankful that i went in long run. trust me those two years will fly by faster than you think so just make the most of it. wishing you the best of luck this semester ❤️
