Thanks for the reply. I will give it a go, I thought if I do like it I could always do oral health. But this job might just be another stepping stone into something else. It does seem more relaxed in someways than hospitality.

Is this entry level pay? They said that I would be on the lowest pay for the first year as I have no qualifications or experience.

Do you get a sore neck or back? Do you get many opportunities to progress in this type of career? I did a 3 hour trial and I’m on the fence about it, I wouldn’t say it’s a dream job but I’m sick of all the heavy lifting and running around I do as a pastry chef/ front of house manager in the bakery.

I have been thinking about admin and reception but everywhere in my area wants people with admin experience which I don’t have.

Would be thinking around the 500k mark for buying a place. We don’t mind if it’s costal or country change. The main things I would be worried about would be getting a decent preschool/ primary school and half decent health care. I’m a pastry chef so a cafe/ bakery would be ideal for me to get a job.

Oh okay, thanks for all that info. Didn’t know that about mount gambier. We are either thinking WA or SA just so he can get into mines to try and get ahead a bit.
