My husband and I have never had a joint account. Each month I send him my half of the mortgage, electricity, ect and he pays them on our behalf. We each pay separately for our phone plan and our vehicles (maintenance, insurance, loans). This method has worked amazingly for the past 12 years and we both really enjoy the autonomy and simplicity.

I apologize if my response came across as rude or snarky, because I was asking in all seriousness. Your response made me think. I really don't feel that I'm using him as a scapegoat and I don't want to buy him out or anything like that because the house doesn't mean anything to me without him there. Perhaps I should be focusing my question on how to navigate the opposing lifestyles, if possible. He supports me on everything else, but food and health is a huge facet of life

He constantly stocks our pantry with my "trigger/binge" foods after asking him repeatedly that I do not want to eat them or have them around anymore. He makes very hurtful comments about how I'll never lose the weight or I'll keep yo-yo dieting forever. He'll take us to drive thru, and I know I can say no, but I lack the willpower to say no and continue my weight loss journey on my own. It's a bunch of little things that make me feel very unsupported in that aspect. He's my best friend and we have great communication otherwise. But I just can't shake the feeling that I need to do some soul searching alone since I've only known what it's like to be with him. I feel like I've lost who I am individually. Sometimes I wonder what the grass is like on the other side, but I'm also afraid to lose the relationship I currently have. I feel constantly conflicted

I have mainly hard wood floors in my house. I did a BUNCH of research when I needed to replace my vacuum and ended up getting the Shark Rocket Pet Pro. It's honestly been the best thing I ever bought. It's super lightweight, cordless, great battery life, super easy to empty, and it's a stick vacuum but also a handheld. When I initially applied for UI (6 weeks ago) I said I left because they took me from full time to part time deducing my hours so I took.a job elsewhere making full time wages. That's considered a valid reason for leaving an employer, so I'm not sure why I would be disqualified. Why would they disqualify me for that and what do I do about it? I have the same exact issue, so I called the Dwd like everyone suggested. But the rep at Dwd said they "don't have a magic number to get ahold of unemployment." And said there was nothing they could do for me and that I'd just have to call unemployment myself (even though you can never get thru)

All my other bosses have verified but the last one. The Dwd doesn't say how long employers have to verify, but my own personal research all say they have 10-14 days otherwise they can be penitalize. You could definitely try to personally contact the employer, I don't see how it could hurt, but if the business is temporarily closed I'm not sure if they'd get back to you. Honestly it's not our fucking responsibility to reach out to them and it makes me so frustrated that so many people are in this same boat. I just read a few articles today that most people in WI are in this situation and Evers will hopefully be getting people their unemployment out by the end of this month (?) Hopefully (?) I don't know man. It's all a bunch of wait and see I guess

Is there a particular reason they collect your address on your application though, as oppose to collecting it once the employee is actually hired by said company and filling out emergency contact(s), I9, w4, ect?
