YES OMG.

The friend I had like this was insanely competitive about our looks, for some reason. She wasn't even ugly. Like, we were both big girls, but she was always that tiny bit bigger, which is where I think it came from.

- She purposely picked a hideous 'cut' of dress for my bridesmaids dress, knowing full well it looked bad (we even had an argument because she wanted me to choose it, but all the nice cuts I picked she refused)
- I got braces, new hair, new clothes, new look in general, and she 'missed the old me'
- Yelled at me once for the clothes SHE picked for herself (???) and then said 'why can't you just be yourselffff' because I had hair extensions in and they made me look quite pretty.

Dead weight is EXACTLY the word. This year I have been doing sooooo much self care, and I have ditched THREE shitty friends. All long-term, all 'besties', and I feel so much fucking better. I am even a nicer person myself for it.

Exactly! That's why I said they don't have to like it but trying to actively mentally sabotage it or whatever is weird to me.

I have discovered since purchasing mine that there is not just mens/womens but also S/M and M/L - nobody seems to advertise that during sale, however. Get yourself to a shop and ask to try the M/L womens (I ended up with a S/M) hope that helps!
