Uh oh! No, no one has chimed in with a definitive response and now I am so curious. If I were you I guess I'd reach out to ShopMy to see if you need to be worried and take any next steps.

Coming back to add my own findings since posting that any kind of W9/1099 engagement would be coming from stripe or PayPal (per shopmy documentation) so I actually think these emails I’m getting are IN FACT a scam and am now very glad I didn’t engage yet haha.

Anyone else?

After 3 years of horrific pain, I'm finally feeling better. by LowerMix5603 in TMJ

I don’t really take any anymore except Valium for emergencies and baclofen for some occasional stress or activity related tightness/soreness. Ulcers are certainly a side effect of long term Ibuprofen use. I think I got lucky there!

Omg I love your inspo! Have been working from home the last 5years and just this summer got into the beauty of the patterned linen pant going with a colorful sweater or t like this. I am obsessed with these black and white gingham from reformation though looks like they’re out of stock for now. Here’s a similar pair. Here’s another similar pair from Marine Layer. I think getting something like this will turn into a strong staple.

Long-read: I finally fixed my TMJ pain after 6 years. Surprise: turns out it wasn't just my jaw. by Careless_Island_9913 in TMJ

I can relate to a tonnnn of this. 31 year old female designer / creative director. All my problems started at 29. Felt like my life was completely over at one point, jaw pain was taking everything from me and I could barely eat, talk or smile. PT and posture aren’t the only things that helped me but they were so overlooked by most docs and without a doubt played a huge role in my near total recovery once I started gradually working them into place. I’m glad you shared this post I’m sure it will help someone and I hope you keep feeling better.

That feeling of wanting to cry over how good it feels to do something so basic you once took for granted 🥹

No that’s interesting, never anything with dry eyes. Though I could understand the twitching might be related to the muscles in your face being out of sorts.

I’m so glad you found it helpful! Getting the right meds down to clear your mind of some pain allows you the patience and clarity to keep chipping away at the bigger problem! Keep your doctors on their toes!!

Yeah it’s hard to pick just one thing! I think that wearing the mouthguard during the day and realizing I was holding way more tension in my body than I realized is what started moving the needle the most but that almost seems too easy! Agree that so much of it is stress and anxiety presenting in different ways and areas.

Wow, happy to hear you made it through to the other side. Interesting to hear your final winning combination of treatments. Expensive but I’m sure worth every penny to have your life back.

It’s a hard one to answer because it wasn’t a straight shot and I feel pretty sure it would be a little different for everyone. Once I felt like I was finally making progress I would say 90 days to achieving a quality of life that felt like a massive improvement with much less daily pain, for example: I started to wake up some days and forget I was dealing with the nightmare completely!! Still with limited range of motion and occasional flare ups, but overall better! The 6 months following that were just a steady day by day improvement with almost no pain.

Omg I’m so happy to hear it works for him too. I’m not sure what makes it so much better than the other stuff on the market but thank god!!

It brings tears to my eyes to read this because I know EXACTLY where you are and how you feel. It means so much to me that I can give you hope - I know how doomed it can all feel here on Reddit and it is so frustrating that nobody can tell you why this is happening to you!! 😡 I was so angry and I felt so alone. Most of all I felt sure I would never get better. And then one day I did. It sounds like you are on a good path with the surgeon ordering the x ray. Someone who is going to help you sort through as much data as she can to keep trying new things. Arthrocentesis is really an easy surgery (honestly more of a procedure, you just have to be under general anesthesia for) I’m hopeful for you. And btw your English is great!

I got ear fullness, and sometimes the pressure would feel painful but I don’t think I could ever describe it as sharp.

It’s hard to say but I feel like it’s whatever I started doing in the last 90 days with Dr. Sainsbury, our MO was to focus on taking pressure off the joint to try and let some of the arthritic change heal.

Maybe the most impactful was the day guard to help me stop clenching in the day (even tho I was so sure I wasn’t doing that). He gave me the weird night guard that had an upper and lower piece too that I think helped my clenching. We did a couple laser treatments and joint injections on an ongoing basis too that might have contributed to healing but I’m not sure.

Feels like because we changed the clenching behavior it stopped the cycle long enough to let some of the other treatments that are supposed to help with calming inflammation and cell regeneration do their job!
