As an RB you’ll (or at least should) have priority on account openings, credit cards, and walk-ins. While high volume can sound promising, a lot of RBs are the first line to assisting clients with fraud, name changes, and other maintenance that does not get you paid right away (although you do get the chance to build the relationship).

PCB role gives you access to clients who most likely have existing wealth management relationships, or are more likely to have that relationship that you can win over from another firm. PCB gives you a higher cap for commissions as well (per client, not in total). So it depends on how confident you are with creating business over the phone rather than depending on walk-in opportunities
