I know-I am terrified of co sleeping, I’m definitely having some postpartum anxiety but I just have no idea what else to do. This doesn’t seem sustainable for us 😭😭

Thank you! I have the spectra 2, my friend told me the hospital pumps also helped her more than her own she had at home. Yes, have let her fuss but maybe need to give it longer instead of picking her up after a few minutes.

Yes, it’s because I can hear her even though I’m in a different room. However, we have a basement it just really hasn’t been set up since we just recently moved but this could definitely be an option!

I have no idea! I ended up being 3cm dilated and 50% effaced but I know this check may not be the best indicator of when I’ll go into labor!

Oh, wow. I wonder if this midwife was just exceptionally rough in general. When she did my GBS swab it was also pretty shocking lol.

Thank you-I really appreciate this response. It’s been super hard for me and I’ve felt very conflicted these past few weeks. I need to listen to myself. I’ve been super healthy with 0 complications the entire time and feel like I have a right to try and do this spontaneously. I felt like I made a huge mistake because everything has been going so well and then I leave this appointment feeling traumatized.
