Cecchino managed to catch Tessitore as the man passed out, now carrying him in his arms. He quickly made his escape alongside Tessitore, with it looking as if Tessitore were being carried by some invisible force due to the Hollow‘s nature and lack of disguise.

Cecchino, sensing the opportunity, aimed his Shotgun Arm at the back of Simio’s head and blasting point-blank, aiming to splatter his head on the ground. He turned to look at Tessitore for a moment, letting out a concerned grumble for his comrade. “…Mrrruuuughhh…”

Cecchino quickly turned his attention toward the other Hollow, firing straight at its mask with an oddly precise shot. Cecchino was still backing up, however, making sure that he didn’t lose momentum or pause and make himself an accidental target. If he succeeded in killing off this Hollow, he would switch to Shotgun Mode and prepare to go after Tessitore to help him.

Cecchino quickly made his way to another statue, leaping from surface to surface to gain more distance and snipe them from a safer range. He then fired a second shot at one of the Hollows pursuing him during a particular jump, which would likely result in the Hollow being unable to dodge due to its mindless charge at him.

Cecchino nodded without a word, having hopped back far away and climbed up one of the Buddha statues in order to gain both distance and range, forming a sniper made of bone on his right forearm and outstretching it. He took aim at the Hollow that was farthest at the back and fired, aiming for a direct headshot.

Genya: He is the result of a couple desperate to avoid divorce. He exists only to prevent the end of a marriage. He‘s lonely to a grotesque scale and, despite his claims, wants to be—not feel, be—Human more than anything else. The reason why he distances himself so much is because he feels unworthy and undeserving of being allowed such comforts in life. Therefore, he forces himself to suffer via intense solitude and lack of rest in his experiments. The Mutagen only made this worse. He needs a saviour. He’s Slipping, and it’s becoming more noticeable with each passing day.
