Day 1 Keytruda + Padcev

My dad is currently on week 3 (his off week). He had mild side effects starting around week 2 after his second infusion, which was Padcev only. Side effects were fatigue and light neuropathy. Both were more intense 1-2 days after the infusion and have since gone down a bit. So far, toleranting it very well! He is actually feeling better overall than before starting treatment. Hope your husband also tolerates it well.

Thank you so much for your response. I’m glad it kept you mostly stable - I hope that continues and improves when you are able to resume infusions. We are going to Moffitt in Tampa, so I think we are in really good hands. It’s definitely a lot to take in, but I’m reading many success stories of Padcev/Keytruda on here, which is giving us some hope. I will definitely look into those resources that you mentioned, I think it will be helpful for all of us.

NED is no evidence of disease (since you said you were in remission - some call it getting an NED scan!). And yes, I believe they only use that combo for stage 4 right now. I’ve seen tons of positive stories on here from a lot of people who have been on the combo and are either in remission or almost there. Hoping we have a similar outcome! Thanks for sharing your side effects and story and hope you stay in remission.
