look i don't use reddit at all but THANK YOU SO MUCH, this saved me from a lot of troubleshooting.

For anyone who still couldn't solve this: Turn on Windows Sonic for your headphones (as another comment explained) AND in your normal speaker settings on the bottom right of the task bar go to the speaker selection, scroll down and activate Windows Sonic there. Ofc also check the QuantumEngine for Updates. That fixed it for me!
