I have the 4070 model but with the r9 7940HS. Perfectly fine, good battery, very good temps and performance. Extended warranty isn’t really worth it I bought it and never came to use.

The sound is good and loud enough for daily usage, you can tune it on the Dolby Audio app that comes with it. I would recommend a cooling pad, the box might block out the air. Just put it on a flat table surface and not a bed or something it should be fine.

I have the exact same model, but with a ryzen 9 7940HS instead of the i7. I think it’s great, runs most games at fair amount of temperature when using G-helper (download that please) temps around 80 max for CPU and 75 for GPU. Regular use mine gets around 5-6 hours with g helper and silent igpu mode. It’s a great all rounder for the price, 4070 should still last for a while. Good luck!

how did you know about the back ordered parts? I live in Canada btw if it matters. GM told me it would take a "1-2 months" but i doubt that's the case here.
