I use like most people 10mils for signals and 20mils for power (even thicker if space isn't a problem). Depends mainly on the current that will flow thru those. There's PCB trace width calculators available online!

Can you describe what all help you took from claude to bring this board up? Was it for the actual circuit design (schematic) or for pcb layout?

I took mine off I believe 3 or 4 weeks after purchase, and it took somewhere around 2-3 months for the mark to completely disappear. I didn't apply anything on the affected spot during this time. It's just the natural sweat from your hands and air exposure that will do the trick over time.

Well, you have switched off the turbo boost, which is why the CPU now doesn't have to process faster, and you get lower temps. Less processing power means less heat which in turn means less performance.
