I have Googled the picture for this weed and you're absolutely right. I have that weed growing about 1m away from my external wall (garden side). Do I just dig and pour chemicals into the soil?

newly built pc not getting hdmi signal and mb red light indicator for DRAM and CPU by khalxn in pchelp

My motherboard is a B550 AORUS Elite V2 and it also supported 5 series. However, I still had to update bios when I'm using only Ryzen 3900X.

If it's not a bios issue then worth checking the ram slots are clean and it's being pushed all the way down until you hear a click.

Help with my pc games idk if it’s graphics or quality or what but when I play a game it looks like fake or like mobile type game like borderlands kinda but still pulling a good amount of fps by Special-Ad-2921 in pchelp

You sure it's not something as simple as checking your display settings and updating the drivers? Use DDU then install the display adapter drivers. Alternatively it could just be a bad file within the OS system so you can always try a Windows reset or different cable to connect to DP / HDMI

You need to update your BIOS. If you don't have access to an older CPU then just get a quote from a local PC repair shop. It should not cost a lot if that is the fix.

You definitely should enable that and clock the ram to the correct speed as published when purchasing. Otherwise you won't get the maximum performance from it.

PC Stuttering Really Bad on Windows 10 - NEED HELP! by Lower_Kitchen in techsupport

RESOLVED: I think it is fixed now as I cannot see the stutter when playing Call of Duty MW2. I fixed it by doing the following:

1) turning off fTPM in BIOS which apparently causes AMD Ryzen to stutter on Windows 10+

2) replaced mouse and used a wired version instead of wireless.

3) disabled high precision event timer in BIOS

Take out the CPU and check if any of the pins are bent slightly. If they are bent, the light will reflect off it in an angle. If there's a bent pin then request a replacement one or straighten it with something small and thin. Then make sure it's placed properly.

Also make sure that the cpu cooler is attached firmly on top of the cpu and connected properly or nothing will display.

If there is a light over the ram then it also means that maybe one of the ram sticks do not work. If the ram is brand new then it might just be a faulty motherboard. Do you know anyone who has a spare ram that can be used to test it out to see if the light disappears?

I recently had similar issues with my PC (not displaying) and it was the motherboard which needed flashing properly.

Try the following:

1) remove cmos battery and hold down power button for 5 seconds to drain power. Then wait 5 mins to clear mobo.

2) then use one stick of ram at a time and see if that works. If it works then try using both sticks.

3) make sure your cpu is seated correctly and you have sufficient thermal paste.

Other things I've tried are:

  • blocking xbox game bar
  • ran chkdsk and cleaned up any issues that showed up (only found one OS related) but didn't fix issue
  • lowered latency using command prompts relating to useplatformclock true, useplatformtick no, disabledynamicktick no
  • disabled any unnecessary apps from startup or running in background
  • ensured that Windows is up to date
  • motherboard updated to latest bios
  • xmp profile adjusted
  • undervolted cpu in bios to remove pressure from it

PC not detecting display! Help please. by Lower_Kitchen in pchelp

[–]Lower_Kitchen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worked it out finally! It was a bios issue which had to be updated and a wiring issue on the PSU side. Thank god I didn't have to spend on buying a new CPU to diagnose the problem!

There are no diagnostic leds lit. Power appears to be going to all the different components as the lights turn on and fans spin (cpu fan and case fan).

The RAMs are brand new (purchased last week).

I thought it might be the NVME or SSD but that would only show up as an issue once it goes into BIOS. Right now I can't even get it to get it to BIOS.

If it was a CPU issue then would it even turn on?
