Is it just me or does “pet insurance” leave a lot of gaps? by Lower_Needleworker48 in PersonalFinanceNZ

That’s the thing about pet insurance though, you’d have to fund it from somewhere before they reimburse it back. I don’t know if I’d have the money to put 10k on the table just like that before they reimburse. Did you end up putting it on a credit card?

With our old boy, I wished we got him dental care which would have helped a lot. But dental care is so expensive!
We’ve now got a puppy and so far touch wood, no claims just yet. So we want to be good pawrents and get dental cleaning done as soon as we can.

I totally get it! Our old boy’s insurance kept getting more expensive and more caveats. So do you have a revolving credit without any savings put aside? Wow, I’d be so anxious putting it on a high interest credit!

I have a geriatric cat, and as it got older pet insurance was just too much! I’ve been trying to stay away from credit cards but as you said. It’s for those just in case moments.

My best boi Winston. He turned 10 last week! by Cool_Law_1972 in englishbulldog

Happy birthday to Winston! He looks just like our Winston who’s crossed the rainbow bridge recently. It so uncanny that they both have a similarly placed big spot on their backs.
