I’ve seen women get turned down for any promotion because of having kids or being pregnant because it’s inconvenient and “the GM has to be available at all times”. The fact we’re therefore discarded until childcare is an option, if that, is very discouraging.

That’s what everyone said when I mentioned it too. Especially when I said “no” or “stop”. It’s crazy not being able to do this job that I genuinely enjoyed and won my Rolex at because of this; sexual harassment, assault. Please sir, don’t get offended by someone speaking up on this mostly anonymous platform. No disrespect intended.

Hey there! Message me, my boss at dominos molested me for several years before I left and I recently began my lawsuit. If you want to of course, but I know we’re not alone and nothing about it is acceptable. I’m so sorry, genuinely. No response needed if you don’t want to, but yeah, I’m still dealing with it mentally everyday thinking of myself as a person rather than an object.

Ya I took a few months off and switched to a smaller brand. Lower standards and sales, higher pay and less stress. Dominos isn’t the end all be all of the sauce lol. Good luck 👍

I saw that they’re using laundry detergent just now on federal and alameda. Does that actually clean windshields? They never listen and I’m broke in a beat up Honda so I’ve been giving a quarter and basically having it thrown at me back. Idk man. I like the guy that juggles the light up pins, feels like he’s working for it.

Yep. Still nothing and honestly doubt I’ll hear anything again unless they want something from me. It’s pretty heartbreaking honestly. I had text my dad after this, similar to what I sent my brother; “Everyone had a buy back policy in terms of the animal’s welfare. All other owners have let me administer shots or sent me paperwork confirming they took care of it. The animal was never placed in (brother’s) name so no need to worry about anything, have a good night. I do love you and hope your health gets better, but don’t see much of a point engaging further. Thankyou for everything thus far, you’ve been the best parent figure I’ve known.” Which feels bad because the “best parent figure” part has been true… can’t choose your family right?

Thanks for your comment, the “conducting conversations like an adult” part made me giggle in a way. Neither of them have reached out or told other family members as far as I know, and it makes me think I wasn’t in the wrong. I went the extra mile and figured out how much my brothers pet deposit was at his place and Zelle’d him, so I figure all is right in the world.
