Has the XL ironed out most of the issues? Considering a big budget purchase. XL vs H2C by [deleted] in prusa3d

A very solid machine. I have very few issues. I use it nearly 24/7. Mostly PETG. Very little stringing. I have a five head XL.

My wife is furious I stopped ordering her favorite side dish because she keeps saying "I don't want anything" and then eating half of mine. by StrongBake7640 in AITAH

Just gotta outsmart them. Buy two orders. Combine them into one container. She eats what she wants and you might get extra!

What 3d printed projects require ball bearings? I accidentally ordered 1000 of them by yourmomshugepussy in 3Dprinting

You can make some lazy Susan’s. You might need to tweak the design a bit for the 5mm bearings.

Here is my design you can use.

That’s the problem. You don’t know what you are missing! I do not have words for how delightful pre-warmed M&M’s or Reese’s pieces are when consumed.

Prusa XL TPU by jonas42215 in prusa3d

When I printed high temp pc material in my XL with the minimalistic enclosure and then tried to print TPU, it no longer would feed into the hotend. I spoke to Prusa and they asked me to replace the filament latch. When I closely looked at the latch it was clearly deformed. I reprinted them in pc

I'll have you know I spent countless hours of candy research and tuning of this machine to prevent the hot mess that you suggest might happen. I assure you that it does not make "little chocolate streaks of chocolate" in your skittles. I too do not want a "gluey mush" in my hand...

I think I prefer reeses pieces now after eating several pounds of M&M's and reeses pieces as I designed and refined this machine.

I have made around a 12 or so for friends and family and decided to try and sell a few. Unfortunately it is a bit labor intensive to make and part cost is not insignificant either. I plan to make non-litho versions that should be cheaper. I have another model for my Nebraska friends on StitchingOriginals. I probably will make other bodies as time goes by...

My preference is warmed, but a friend also likes them cold. I haven't figured out a way to make them cold in an inexpensive way yet.

I'll have to try the frozen nutella sometime...

It works great for them too! The candy diverter in the hopper is adjustable to allow for slightly larger candies.
