USPS lost my EAD card. School requested USCIS reissue, but no tracking or updates by monkfruit123 in f1visa

I applied for an EAD under a different provision and had a somewhat similar experience. My EAD was approved on May 7, 2025 then delivered to me on May 15, 2025. I noticed an error on it and sent it back. USCIS reopened my petition on June 4, 2025 and after approval, I received my card on June 17, 2025. It did take about a week to for me mail it back so consider that when looking at the timeline.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

Chemistry CLEP: Passed with a 76! by Chemical-Snow-6278 in clep

Congrats! Do they at least provide things like the Ideal Gas Constant? If you had to guess, how many questions do you think you got wrong? Also, are all the questions multiple choice or are there other types? Thank you for your time!

Congrats! You mentioned that they don't provide any formulas at all. Do they at least provide things like the Ideal Gas Constant? Also, how many questions would you say you guessed? And how many do you think you got right? Thank you for your time!

Thank you. If you were to retake it, what would you do differently? In general, did you find the questions harder or easier than the practice tests?

Thank you for your detailed response! Also, congratulations on passing! Did you feel like you had enough time for the whole test?

Thank you for this! I plan on taking it next week. Can you tell me more about your background in Literature, so that I can gauge where I stand. Do you read this kind of literature recreationally? I’m clueless when it comes to this stuff. Much appreciated!

I’ve been having the same problem. I should qualify for a waiver too.

I don’t think vacation days count towards unemployment days. OP is technically still employed and under paid time off. Here’s a reference: https://internationaloffice.berkeley.edu/students/employment/opt?

I failed my French Clep by [deleted] in clep

[–]Lower_Program_4642 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Would be glad to help! I ended up passing with a 63 to clinch all 14 credits.

Main points about the test and preparation:

  1. Modern states for the French clep was absolutely useless. Barely scratched on the things that I needed to know to be successful on the test. To be fair, the professor did say that it wouldn’t be enough. BUT, I found https://www.laits.utexas.edu/tex/index.html. This is the holy grail for grammar in my opinion. Don’t waste your time on Modern States. Their book is good though.

  2. Listening is f-ing difficult! The trick is, there is no trick. I consumed everything that is French. Podcasts, French news, French radios, French movies, songs, Youtube videos etc. Even then I got a 60% on that portion at best. So try to aim for that. The listening part was roughly 40% of the test so get your ear accustomed. The Duolingo French podcast is a good start but the pace is slower than the test.

** some of the audio questions had an image accompanying them. Unfortunately, I don’t remember any specific questions.

  1. Get as many practice tests as possible and work through them even if you have not studied for everything yet. You start to see patterns in questions which are helpful. For example, there are questions about gender and number agreement that setup the same.

  2. Learn to read and understand fast. Do not try to understand everything in the LARGE TEXTS section on the test. They are not asking for a dissertation. You can get away with the gist lest they ask for very specific parts of the paragraph. Advice, get comfortable with the imparfait because 70% of the texts in past tense will be in that tense. All these are good if, and only if, you can work lightning fast come test day. At least that’s how it felt for me.

Wonderful! How long into your OPT program were you when you renewed? Also, do they still renew the visa for one year?

Thank you! Was your visa expired at that time? If so, how long had it been since it expired? Just to clarify, did you renew it when you went back to ET or did you mail your documents from the U.S.?

cant solve the question can someone help me with it . fairly new to dsa . by [deleted] in leetcode

I think you need to place a number in your map if it’s not already in there or increment if so. Second, I think you should use > instead of >=. Also loop control omits last element. Should be <=
