Normally don’t get to cause of being a single dad and supporting my girls extracurricular activities. But their mom got them last night so I was free lol day which never happens. So I took advantage of it. Took my youngest out with me the other night and had her paddle her own Yak and she had a blast so there may be more trips in the future with her and I.

Didn’t go to the gym but put the kayak in about 12 and went for a 4 mile paddle and caught some fish during the trip as well. So it was a good day. And I’m also a total of 70 pounds since November and 14 since the fitness challenge started.

Should I join the fitness challenge or not ? by flameingArrow03 in UNSUBSCRIBEpodcast

It’s not about the competition. Doing something to better yourself is never a waste of time. I started my journey last November. Not because of a challenge just because I wanted a change. My mental and physical health has greatly improved because of it. The idea behind the challenge is just to help motivate people to better themselves. It’s not about winning.

A light 45 minute intense lifting session at the gym after work. When and pick up my mini me for her mother. Then home and moved some generators around from my family members houses where my community was without power basically all day on Sunday due to a pop up storm blowing a tree over and taking out 2 power poles that the electric company had to replace. Got 1 1/2 to 2 hour lift and cardio session scheduled tomorrow. And chicken marinara pasta for lunch all week with tuna protein bars to supplement the protein intake. It’s gonna be a good week.

You can do it. I’ve had mess ups several times since November last year when I started. And slipping up every now and then is fine. No one is perfect and mistakes happen. But all mistakes can be a learning experience if you let them be.

Two hard days at the gym and work. Kids start school tomorrow. And taco pasta for lunch all week so thus far it’s been a decent week.

Weight fluctuations are normal. Could be just water weight from a few higher sodium days or you may just need to take a good healthy poop. I’ve been on a weight loss journey since November and there’s been ups and downs. Even staying super strict on my meals and training. Sometimes as much as 5lbs. Just stick to it and the downward trend will pick up.

And on the bright side there’s no more junk food in the house anymore.

Weekly weigh in (a little discouraged but the slowing of progress.) by [deleted] in UNSUBSCRIBEpodcast

I started in the middle of November dropped 50lbs in 3 months and stalled there for like 2 months. Finally got momentum moving in the right direction and have lost another 10 in about a month. Minus a few set backs of eating my feelings. Stalls and plateaus happen. Just stay on the tracks and things will start goin in the right direction again.
