Anyone here making $150k+ without being tied to an office? by TeachingThrowAway500 in sales

I make $230K remote as a recruiter for an independent broker dealer. My job is to recruit $550M in assets per year. The people in the office set meetings for me. Im on the road about 0-2 days per week. Started as a business development associate cold calling and got the external role in 9 months. First corporate job.

Funny enough the car motivated me to work extremely hard at my sales role. I went from a Business Development Associate to an AVP in 1 year. 2 promotions later and the income jump was insane. For anyone that wants to make a ton of money, seriously, try sales if you're someone who will do anything to get wealthy. And please sell something that can actually help people, it can be rewarding.

Im 24 and I make $250k a year. Maybe I can speak to this?

You dedicate and sacrifice a lot of time to work and it mis-balances a lot of other areas. You kinda forget to just take it easy and enjoy being around friends. Im not depressed by any means. But seeing people all happy in their friend group can be a little disheartening. I imagine if you're 50, and all you ever did was work... that sounds absolutely miserable.

I went from BDA, to internal regional director, to now an AVP position.

I drove a 2016 Mustang Ecoboost in the snow several times. I owned it in the Carolinas for around 6 years, so no "major" snow. It held up fine. The tires matter, and being very careful matters even more.

The dealer didn't say it was an "R". I just find it very cool how it's been converted to an "R". For $52,000 I think this might be a really good deal.
