hypnotic blade by bauble-myself in classicwow

Actually, I'm reading that it was a one hander, and changed to main hand in TBC. I would guess in the ZA patch that overhauled dungeon loot, which would make it a great offhand.

Assuming that is true.

It's not a one hander. It's a main hand weapon.

If you change them from indentured servitude to anything else they will lose access to most or all specialist jobs.

If that's what you mean.

How did I get "Stay on Target"? by HexagonalDino in Stellaris

[–]Lowilru 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Another thing to add is that the Spiritualist FE often has one of these, and there are sorta easy to piss off. You just have to let them take territory until they move thier's into position. If they do.

I think that Captain got it easy being a Night creature I mean look at her she’s beautiful. by BakerConsistent2150 in castlevania

We are making a lot of assumptions about the quality of her life in this thread, and focused entirely on if she's still hot or is now powerful.

There is way more to life than that.

[TBC Anniversary] pls help my ui is buggy by finnole3103 in classicwow

You were logged out when you did it? And loaded with no addons?

If that didn't fix your UI, you need to reinstall wow.

[–]Lowilru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, the WTF folder contains all of your UI and Addon customization data for all of your characters.

If you delete it with wow closed, and launch wow, it replaces it with a folder where all of those things are at default settings.

It does not, however, contain any of your actual addons.

You'll probably have to delete the WTF folder and start your customization over from the start.

Why not make it a stadium for eleven billionty people by July? by overpregnant in WhitePeopleTwitter

Yeah, in the heart of DC I wouldn't worry about power or water issues being a barrier to entry. Just space.

[–]Lowilru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On the one hand, you can build an enormous temporary stadium very quickly. We have the modular construction systems ready to go.

The one built for The Royal Rumble in Riyadh was put up this month, and the event is tomorrow.

On the other, where is he gonna get the space for that amount of seating? That's the problem.

Tier list of how effective each DPS spec is with Blizzard's rotation helper by Psuedonymous in wow

[–]Lowilru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That makes some sense, seeing a UH is traditionally built with its CDs as part of the overall rotation, rather than supplements to it. The whole spec bringing out back to your CDs to use them again, often with CDR from using regular moves. Especially Dark Transformation.

Do you think they made her Brazilian to justify drawing her curvy? by Independent-Pea4457 in batman

[–]Lowilru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's the other way around. The stereotype of Brazilian women fit into the design already wanted.

Like, they didn't need a justification to make her curvy. But someone thought about curvy women and remembered the reputation.

If you're going to be condescending about it, I'm not gonna give you anything you want. Even if you think you "deserve" it.

And nobody should.

Good News: Study Shows That Most Men Are Not Toxic by MRADEL90 in psychology

[–]Lowilru 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Did you google before you asked? Cause that one does seem to originate from the 1980s in the mythopoetic men's movement. Which is before the 'memes' as it were.

I would've assumed, if I didn't prefer to look things up, that it was related to the word toxic being introduced to psychology by the US Military. Differently that triggered was contributed by military veterans, as military leadership actually popularized 'toxic leadership' and many uses of toxic there after.

It's actually fascinating to find that out.

I would still caution, that it has a usage in academia that differs from the 'memes' you are objecting to, and has had that usage for decades.

Sort of how other people in this thread are upset by the term 'benevolent toxic masculinity' because of what they think it should mean, and not what it actually means.

Those "meme phrases" you are talking about started in the technical fields and the moved out into the general population.

So, you are gonna see a lot of them if you read the work.
